AN 11mm (FRENCH ORDNANCE) SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'CHAMELOT-DELVIGNE TYPE', serial no. 14767,
Belgian circa 1875 but styled on the French Officer's Model 1873, with stepped octagonal 4 3/4in. barrel, the underside marked 'ACIER FONDU', large dove-tailed fore-sight, sighting groove to the narrow top-strap, fluted cylinder, hinged loading gate, solid frame with hinged side-plate, chequered walnut grips with floral carving to tops, guarded trigger and under-barrel ejector, retaining much factory blued finish
